Bonding/Veneers

Cosmetic procedures such as; teeth whitening, bonding of tooth-colored material to teeth and porcelain veneers are commonly used to improve the appearance of a smile.

Whitening is a process that uses special bleaching agents for restoring the color of natural teeth.

Bonding invloves the application of a tooth-colored material to the surface of the tooth or teeth. It can be used conservatively to fill in spaces between teeth or restore a chipped/broken area, and allows for modification; if needed.

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded permanently to teeth. They can be placed to cover stained, crooked, worn, or cracked teeth. Because veneers require removing a small amount of enamel, to allow for the thickness of the veener, they are permanent and non-reversible.
